In addition to the proper power supply of the detector, the GNP18 socket enables the connection of an external alarm indicator and allows for easy disconnection of the detector from the place of installation for service purposes – cleaning.<\/p>\n

Before screwing the OSD23 detector into the GNP18 socket, pay attention to the existing lock protecting against unauthorized removal of the detector from the socket. In order to remove the blockage, break the tab (hook) in the socket’s plastic housing (see socket drawing below).<\/p>\n

Unscrewing the lock-protected detector in the base requires the use of a key and consists in inserting the key into a special hole on the periphery of the detector, gripping the detector with the hand in such a way that pressing the hand against the detector causes the key to be inserted as far as it will go (to the bottom surface of the detector), and then, turning the detector , pull it out of the slot.<\/p>\n

The manufacturer does not provide for any special maintenance activities. Depending on the operating conditions of the device, you can periodically check the condition of screw connections (loose terminals). Maintenance works should be carried out with the supply voltage switched off and the power supplying devices via the relay switched off.<\/p>\n

The GNP 18 socket is a plastic element equipped with connectors for connecting the OSD 23 detector. It is adapted for mounting on the ceiling using e.g. wall plugs spaced 90mm apart. The housing is equipped with a mechanical lock – a plastic latch – which makes it impossible to remove the OSD 23 detector from the base without using a key.
