RCP X8 working time registration and access control system registers workers' entrances and exits, their working time and controls their access to rooms.

Each reader can perform, simultaneously or not, two functions:

Working time registration (RCP)

Readers registering working time should be mounted close to the main entrance to the company building. By inserting the card into the reader, workers register their Entrances, Exits or Exits on Duty. If the reader is mounted next to the main entrance to the building, it can perform the two functions: registrering the beginning of work and controlling access to the building.

Access control (KD)

Access control allows entitled workers to enter specific rooms. The rooms should have doors next to which a reader, an electromagnetic latch (controlled by the reader) and a door check should be mounted.

The registered events are stored in non-volatile, inner memory of the reader. The readers work independently – constant computer control over them is not necessary. RCP 58 computer program makes it possible to download events from readers' memory, to store them in archivea and to create specific settings for workers. The program is intuitive and handy. In the full version it becomes a technically advanced device which registers and sums up working time as well as creates different types of reports. It also cooperates with payroll programs. Apart from having the program installed on one computer, to which an inner reader is connected, it is possible to install the program in the “browser” version on other computers. As a result, the data from RCP 58 system can be modified etc.

RCP X8 system installation

In the easiest installation of RCP X8 the readers are connected paralelly by means of a four-wire line which supplies the readers and transmits data from and to the computer. Thanks to RCP68LS converter it is possible to have connections by means of local area net or by phone.
